Few people embody resilience like Marc Herremans.
After a cycling accident that left him paralyzed, Marc refused to give up.
He rebuilt his life, continued to train, and ultimately became an Ironman world champion, a father, and an entrepreneur.
Marc’s story is not so much about sports — it’s about mindset. About how to guard your light when everything seems dark.
He shares the lessons he learned about:
-
How to turn adversity into the strength to fight back
-
How to find meaning in life when everything seems to fall apart
-
How to focus your energy on what you can do
Marc Herremans reminds us that healing begins the moment we stop asking, “Why me?” — and start asking, “What now?”

In 2002, a serious cycling accident during the Ironman of Lanzarote changed his life forever. Marc was left paralyzed from the chest down but refused to give up on his dream. He founded the non-profit organization To Walk Again, which helps people with disabilities move, play sports, and dream again.
Today, he also coaches elite athletes and entrepreneurs on mental resilience and focus.
