Stephan Claes – Why we have everything and still get sick

Why do so many people today become burned out, depressed, or anxious?

Why do so many people get sick or burn out in a world where we “have it all?”

Few people can answer this better than 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗲𝘀 — psychiatrist, KU Leuven professor, and head of the Psychiatry Research Group (Neurosciences). He supervises the anxiety & depression/burnout clinics at UPC KU Leuven and authored the book “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺.”

During this event, we will learn about:

  • How chronic pressure and perfectionism fuel anxiety, depression, and burnout

  • Why quick fixes (more pills, superficial hacks) fail — and what evidence-based alternatives work

  • How we can shift from control & comparison to self-knowledge, compassion, and realistic ambition

You’ll walk away with fresh insights that can lower pressure, rebuild resilience, and restore harmony between mind and body.
